Picking the Right Spot for Your Decal

Decals are an interesting way to get your message across. You can select from many of our pre-made graphical decals, or design your own that include graphics and letters. We also offer OSHA decals that make it easier for your business to stay in compliance with OSHA laws.

After you have purchased your decals, you will need to find the perfect spot to install them. Decals are quite easy to install and afford you more options. If you have been looking for a new sign for your business, but you don't have any place to hang or display it, a decal may solve your problem. Decals can be installed on walls, windows or even your vehicle. Here are some tips for finding the right spot for your decals.

Decals for Vehicles

If you are customizing your vehicle to display a message about your company, you will have several different placement options. Your doors are the most obvious placement idea for your decals. The driver's side is the most common placement for decals. This way, everyone that drives on this side of your vehicle, or sees it parked will easily see your message.

If you have a company truck, your tailgate is another option for your decals. This is a great way to make use of this space and people behind you will be able to clearly read your message. If you spend a great deal of your time in traffic, this is a great way to advertise, even if you're stuck in rush hour.

OSHA Signs

OSHA signs should be displayed in areas that require these signs. For example, if you have a door that leads to a room containing hazardous chemicals, you could purchase a Danger Sign to hang on this door. OSHA may have specific requirements for the placement of these decals so it is a good idea to check with them first to make sure that you are in compliance with these regulations.

Window Installation

If you are using decals in your store or business window, it is a good idea to pick a spot that will be easily seen from the majority of directions and angles. The front window is normally the most popular installation spot, but doors and other windows may work well too.

When installing a decal on a window, you will need to make sure that you hang them at approximately eye level. With varying heights, this of course, not an easy task, but a good rule to follow is to place your decals at about 5 feet from the bottom the window. If your windows are smaller, placing your decals in the center or at the bottom will work well.
